Navatu Dreams, Siem Reap

After almost two years of restricted travel during the Covid pandemic, we booked a trip to Cambodia in February 2022. We chose Navatu Dreams Siem Reap as a base, looking forward to exploring the temples of Angkor and rediscovering this wonderful country.

Navatu Dreams turned out to be a lovely place to return to after a day of exploring. With tropical gardens, a choice of swimming pools and a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere, it was easy to slow down and relax.

The Explorer Room

The rooms at Navatu Dreams are beautiful. Our Explorer Room overlooked the gardens and had a lovely veranda where we could sit outside.

The room was spacious, with a king-size bed, seating area, bathroom with his-and-hers sinks, and plenty of storage. The decor was modern, clean and simple. There was also a safety deposit box, dressing gowns and refillable toiletries.

One detail I particularly appreciated was the hotel’s approach to reducing plastic waste. We were given reusable bottles to refill at water dispensers around the resort. Fresh leaf teas were another lovely touch, available both in the room and in the restaurant.

It’s probably one of the most sustainability-conscious hotels we’ve stayed in, and these little details made a real difference to our experience.

The Grand Tour Room

We returned to Navatu Dreams Siem Reap after a few days of exploring other areas in Cambodia, and on this visit we were upgraded to a Grand Tour room. These larger rooms have the same great aesthetics and comfortable beds as the Explorer Room, but come with the benefit of private outdoor patios and pool view.

The private patio and pool views made this room feel particularly special, and it offered more privacy than our Explorer Room.

Food and Drink at Navatu Dreams

Breakfast was included in our stay, and the food at the on-site restaurant was lovely. The menu offered a mix of Khmer (Cambodian) cuisine and Italian dishes.

Sometimes we ate in the open-air Niam Niam restaurant, where soothing music seemed to play throughout the day. I sometimes still hear it in my thoughts! On other occasions, we ordered food directly to the poolside.

Everything we tried was thoroughly enjoyable.

Explore Angkor Wat

For most people, exploring The Temples of Angkor is one of the main draws to Siem Reap. Navatu Dreams is around 10km from the Temples of Angkor, and absolutely should be on the list of things to do when you are in Siem Reap.

We bought a three day Angkor pass to explore. We had a driver one day, hired bikes one day, and explored via foot one day. It’s the second time we’ve been to Angkor, but there’s so much to explore. As of 2026, the pass is $72 for 3 days.

How Much Does Navatu Dreams in Siem Reap Cost?

We stayed at Navatu Dreams in February 2022, when international travel was only beginning to recover from the Covid pandemic. The resort was particularly quiet during our visit, and prices were relatively affordable.

As an indication of current pricing, when I checked on 18 October 2026, an Explorer Room for dates in early 2027 was showing at around £105 per night, including breakfast. For a boutique hotel with such lovely surroundings, that struck me as good value.

Prices vary according to dates, room type and board basis, so it’s worth comparing the available options before booking.

You can check current prices and availability through the hotel’s official website or compare deals on Booking.com.

Would We Stay at Hotel Again?

Absolutely.

Navatu Dreams is a peaceful oasis within reach of Siem Reap’s centre. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the food was good, the atmosphere was calm and the service was wonderful.

During our visit, the wellness facilities weren’t operating because guest numbers were so low. I’d love to return and experience that side of the resort, too.

I’ve also recommended Navatu Dreams to friends and family travelling to Cambodia. It’s a lovely place to stay, and one I’d happily return to.
